What Clubs can I play for?

All 2015 Grand Finals will be held at PCSA
Home Grounds.

Yes for the first time in four years PCSA looks like holding the Grand Finals
at our home grounds. Not only is it great to hold our games at home, but its cheaper, easier to get to and we can support our own canteen - all proceeds of the day being channeled into our own association.
So even if you are not playing, come down, support your Club and friends and join in on the day.
14 March 2015.

Good Luck to Gary Johnson and Wayne Warren as they start their Open Mens Nationals Campaign today in Queensland.
All of PCSA hope you have a great Nationals.

Update on PCSA Over 35s trials for 2015 Rep Season

All forms that were received by 6pm on 22/11/14 for the original Over 35s trials for Ladies & Men are on the PCSA trial list and are eligible to trial for Over 35s when the new dates are confirmed.

Mens team – We are still waiting for a Head Coach to be appointed. So maybe over the holiday period – someone may put their hand up to be Head Coach & then we can organise a trial sometime in early Feb 2015.

There are 17 men down on the Over35 list to trial.

Ladies team – Whilst the Ladies team has a Head Coach – Barry Blanchard; there were only six ladies that were available to trial on 22/11/14. Due to Barry’s busy schedule with SNSW commitments over December &  January, Barry advised that he couldn’t run a trial with only x6 players there, and would confirm a new date for Over 35s to trial in early Feb 2015 also.

There are 17 ladies down on the Over 35s list to trial.

With the new changes that were brought in by SNSW about 5-6 weeks ago, all players trialling for over 35s must be a fully registered Senior player with either a club or directly with PCSA.

As soon as the trial dates are confirmed for Over 35s, the information will be updated on PCSA Website & Face book page.

Penrith City Softball Association is proudly sponsored by Panthers Penrith for the 2014/2015 year.

Panthers have provided our association with a total of $9,500 in grants this year.  This money will be spent on the development of softball in our local area including a Schools program.

Penrith City in conjunction with Softball NSW will pilot a program in primary schools for children with special needs as well as main stream children. We believe that all children should be encouraged to play sport and there is no better sport than softball.

Penrith City Softball Association would like to thank Panthers for their very generous support of our sport.

Message from the President

PCSA Executive would like to thank the 6 members of Penrith Softball Club who very kindly volunteered their time on Wednesday evening to repair the playing surface on diamond 1 and the removal of the mound of dirt near 3rd base dugout on diamond 2.

I would like to encourage all clubs not only Penrith and Hornets to take pride in our grounds and if you see a problem with the grounds offer a solution and the man power to repair them.

The PCSA Executive consists of nine volunteers while the players that use our ground is approximately 650, so this is a reminder to all that many hands make light work.

Welcome to the 2014/15 Softball Season! Good Luck!

Penrith City Softball Association is proud to have a pilot softball program - Softball for children with a disability.

We require your help to get it off the ground. We are of the firm belief that all children should be encouraged to participate in sport and that is what our program is about.

We require $3,000 to be raised for the purchase of equipment, facilitator fees and for the hire of the grounds at the Blacktown Olympic Stadium for a gala day at the end of the program.

If you can help us fund raise by donating at

We are also looking for coaches who have some spare time during school hours to assist with the program.

Please help us help these children enjoy a great Softball sporting program.

If you are able to help in any way please contact Loretta Watts at [email protected]
